4th of July

Maykaylee Rose Hill turned 7 years old on July 3rd, however, they were just getting back from their vacation on her birthday, so Michael and Emily had her birthday celebration on the 4th. Lots of fun for the kids, young and old. Michael and Emily had set up their pool, a slip and slide and the trampoline for entertainment. We also took our ladderball game that Michael and Emily got us for our anniversary. After leaving Michael and Emily's, we went to our friends Karen and Joe's for a great BBQ. Had awesome food with awesome friends. We then drove to Melba for the fireworks. As usual, they were great.

Camping

Tony and I left on June 30th to go camping. Stayed Saturday night at Wellington Snow Park by Cougar Mountain with Ula and Larry and Alma and Ron (Tony's sisters and brother n laws). Left there Sunday around noon and went on in to McCall. We stayed at Ponderosa camp ground. Monday we went on a 76 mile atv ride- made it almost into Yellowpine, but a very dark cloud was overhead and we decided to turn around. Tuesday went to Zimms hot springs in New Meadows, Wednesday went to Gold Fork hot springs and Thursday came home. Had a wonderful time. We walked every morning and night along with all of the mosquitoes, but it was great.

Memorial Weekend

The weekend started Friday morning, when sister Sharon and I took our 120 mile loop putting flowers on the gravesites of our loved ones. Started in Nampa, then to Caldwell, Parma, Nyssa, Emmett and finally back to Nampa. Later went to dinner at Jalapeno's with some Sharon, Mike and other friends.

Saturday, went to Ryans for a BBQ at their new home in Buhl. Weather not totally accomadating, but was bearable. Michael, Emily and the kids went to. Hadley and Hestin really enjoyed playing with their cousins Jackson, Makaylee and Whitnee. Hadley was totally torked with me when we had to leave. We brought Jackson, Makaylee and Whitnee back home with us.

Michael and Emily were going on to Pocatello where they were going to stay Saturday and Sunday, then go on to Blackfoot on Monday to start looking for a home. They will be moving sometime in July or early August.

On Sunday, Papa Tone, Gramma Nana and Jackson went to the Owyhees 4-wheeling. Had a great day and Jackson is totally into it, and thinks that he should be able to ride on his own.

Monday we went to visit Grandma Vetter and Grandma and Grandpa Hill - Shopped for carpet, went shopping and came home and relaxed.

Today - Tuesday, we are going to drive to Ti Creek- which is above Crouch and plant flowers.

Hope everyone's Memorial weekend was as nice as ours.

Working on the house

Well, Michael said that I wouldn't add anything to our blog. Just to prove him wrong, I am.
We have just finished painting the inside of the house, looks awesome, if I do say so myself. We put up crown molding in every room, waiting for new cabinets and carpet. Should be finished by the middle of June. Alot of work, but worth it. Thanks to my very good friend Karen for getting me motivated. Will show pictures when complete.
